History

The Community of Maple Child Care Services is a not for profit charitable organization governed by a volunteer parent/community based Board of Directors. To meet the demanding needs of the children and families, we opened the doors at our first location, at Father John Kelly Catholic School in Maple, on January 8th, 1990. Since that time we have grown and today we are pleased to have the opportunity to service over seven hundred children throughout our six locations including Maple, Woodbridge & East Gwillimbury. Our child care centres offer full-time and part-time programs and, during the school year, we operate before and after school programs for school age children. We offer programs from infancy to school age and a summer camp program.

We are proud of the high quality, early learning programs we provide to all our children from infancy to school age. Our success can be attributed to the passion and commitment that we have to our families in ensuring the very best Early Learning Environment for all our children. Understanding the importance of building strong partnerships with our parents, we promote and encourage parent engagement and strive on daily communication as we endeavor to provide the best possible experience for the children and families enrolled in our programs.

The dedication of our staff team is conveyed in their day-to-day work with the children and a strong understanding of child development, energy and enthusiasm within our home away from home atmosphere.

On January 8, 2020, the Community of Maple Child Care Services celebrated 30 years of quality child care services. The beginning of a new chapter for the child care community began on January 8, 1990. It started with one location at Father John Kelly Catholic School in Maple and today we have a total of six sites, including Maple, Woodbridge & East Gwillimbury. Our success can be attributed to our passion and commitment in ensuring the very best care for our children.

We encourage parent engagement and we understand the importance of building strong partnerships with our parents. We strive on daily communication in an effort to provide the best experience for the children and families enrolled in our programs.
